The federal government has opened a portal for the submission of entries for the National MSME Awards 2024.
What Is The National MSME Awards?
The National MSME Awards is a week-long event held annually to recognize exceptional indigenous MSMEs. This event includes activities such as the International MSME Week, an Expanded National MSME Clinic, a business exhibition/plenary session, and a gala/award night to inspire MSMEs nationwide.
The MSME awards started in August 2018 and have continued annually in June since then. There have been five award ceremonies so far, with more than 40 winners. Winners in different categories have received prizes such as cash, cars, and media attention, which have positively impacted their businesses and profiles.
The prizes for the awards have increased over the years, from a single car in 2018 for the MSME of the Year winner to a total of 10 cars across all categories. This highlights the strong relationship that has developed between the private sector and the Federal Government.
